About Me

Mayara Fonseca

Mayara always remembers fondly the wonderful time she spent at her Brazilian home cooking along with her mom, an expert baker of more than 30 years for whom she holds a great admiration for her unequaled cuisine. As a young girl she developed a passion for cooking and baking. So when Mayara took a course confectioning all things chocolate,  everything changed for her. Passionate for new cultures, foods and travel, she decided to combine her knowledge and skills to create treats that become the highlight of celebrations or just be the occasional indulgence that makes people happy. Mayara holds an MBA in People Management, an Event Planning Degree and works to bring you the intense flavors of Brazilian treats such as cakes, breads, brigadeiros, cinnamon twist, honey cake, cookies, and much more.

Why So Good Brazilian Treats?

Since baking in Brazil for friends, family, and customers, I used to hear that expression a lot: “So Good!”. When I moved to Austin TX, while baking for friends and family, once again I heard everybody's “So Good!”. So that became the name of the company. It’s easy for people to remember the feeling of eating my treats and it feels So Good when I hear that!
